Cancellation Policy

A cancellation fee may be issued to any client (individual or business/entity) that cancels or reschedules within three hours of our confirmed appointment time. A cancellation may also occur if a signer is a no-show to the appointment, the client is unable to provide & verify the required ID, documents are not sent within the required timeframe prior to the meeting, etc...

Cancellation fees may vary based on the amount of notarizations, & the fee ensures that the notary will be paid for their reserved time.*

We understand that sometimes things happen & you may need to cancel/reschedule your appointment. Please review our cancelation policy below to understand your rights & responsibilities.

• Please contact us at least 3 hours in advance of the scheduled appointment time if you need to cancel/reschedule the appointment. Failure to do so may result in the client being charged a cancelation fee of $75.
• A no-show fee of $100 may be charged if you do not show up for your scheduled appointment & do not provide notice of the cancelation.
• If you need to reschedule your appointment, please contact us as soon as possible to discuss availability & changes.
• In the unfortunate event a closing does not go as planned, where one party cancels their closing after their documents have been notarized, the full price of the agreed closing cost still stands & shall be paid for by the party as outlined in the agreement.
• We do not provide refunds for documents that have been notarized &/or have been rejected by the requesting party. It is the sole responsibility of the signer to ensure all online documents are accepted.

We reserve the right to refuse service to any individual/entity who repeatedly cancels or reschedules their appointments without providing adequate notice.

Please have all parties present for the signing at the scheduled time, including all witnesses if required. We reserve the right to charge for any additional wait time before the agreed upon appointment time, or if the appointment runs over the scheduled time. Graystone Notary Services does NOT provide witnesses & the scheduled notary cannot act as a witness for your signing.
